The Outreach Ministries of the Rock Church annually partners with local churches to coordinate the Toys for Joy Christmas Event which seeks to impact the lives of area children through providing a toy and food for their family combined in an event that ministers in both a practical and spiritual way.

This year, partnering with King/Chavez School, local churches and the community, the outreach ministries of Rock Church is hosting the Twelfth Annual Toys for Joy Christmas Event.

Local community leaders, businesses and churches are invited to join us in providing for underprivileged children in our area. We expect to touch the lives of 5,000 children and their families this year.

Event Details: Children and their families will benefit from a free of charge evening that includes:

• A toy for each child
• Medical & Health Education
• One bag of non-perishable food for each family
• Free Concession stands
• Clothing will be available as needed
• Fun Zone
• Entertainment (live bands)
• Spiritual encouragement (provided by local pastors)

Date: Saturday, December 13

Time: 11 – 3 PM (delivery of toy and food donations 7-9 AM/set-up for concession stands 10AM)

Location: King/Chavez School, 415 31st Street, San Diego, CA 92102

How you can help:

• Conduct a toy drive
• Conduct clothing drive
• Cash donation
• Volunteer to help at the event
• Sponsor a concession stand (popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, soft drinks, etc.)
• Sponsor promotional items with your companies’ name (Volunteer T-shirts, collection boxes, etc.)
