Christmas…a time for celebrating with family and friends, enjoying good food and special treats, the joyous sounds of happy children exploring presents left beneath the tree…a time of plenty. This is the hope of every child and yet many, right in our own community, will not know what most of us take for granted.

What is more, many will not realize the true meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ and the awesome love He has for them. As a vehicle to share God’s love in both a practical and spiritual avenue, the Outreach Ministries of Rock Church is joining with the King/Chavez School, local churches and the community to host the Twelfth Annual Toys for Joy Christmas Event.

As a vital part of the community and co-workers in sharing the Gospel, I would like to invite local churches to partner with us in touching the lives of area children through this event. By joining together, the impact can be far reaching. We expect to provide for 5,000 children and their families. As you are aware, the need is great as is the sensitivity to the message during the Holidays.

How you can help:

• Conduct a toy or clothing drive
• Volunteer at event
• Brand Name a zone (Food, childrens, youth etc)
• Financial gift support
• Be a church we can refer attendees to after the event
• Altar workers may minister in the prayer tent

Acknowledgements (as a valued partner, we would like to make available the following):

• Church information listed on website, promotional flyers, and press releases
• Church Name Branding of an area (children fun zone, food, clothing, etc.)
• Church table at the event for promotion of activities
• Pastors can join us on stage to participate with announcements, translation, and prayer
• Attendees encouraged to attend sponsor churches
